So,
you're the proud owner of a Roland Sound Canvas. Congratulations!
It's a fine MIDI instrument capable of some very impressive sounds.
The Sierra Soundtracks on this page will put your SC to the test
by utilizing its many features and through extensive use of the
hundreds of tones hidden within those chips. Note that all of
these GS files require the MT-32 variation tone set. If your Sound
Canvas model does not contain these sounds, the files on this
page will not play back properly.
YAMAHA
XG USERS PLEASE NOTE:
Although some Yamaha XG devices include both the MT-32 and CM-32P
variation tone sets, Roland and Yamaha sound characteristics differ
greatly. These files will not play properly under Yamaha XG. |

ROLAND SC-D70/SC-88/SC-88
PRO/SC-8820/SC-8850 USERS:
Be
sure to set your module to SC-55 Mode in order to properly
play these MIDI files. The sound characteristics and balance between
Sound Canvas patch maps may differ slightly and affect the output of
some GS song files.
NOTE: If your Sound Canvas interprets "CC 032 = 1" as
the SC-55 bank number, some of these GS files will automatically set
your module to the proper mode. Files
which do this are indicated by the following logo:
